Dependent evidences can be viewed as the combination results of two independent evidences and the common
dependent evidence. Based on this assumption, a reverse operation of combination rule, “de-combination rule”, is proposed
in this paper, and a combination rule for dependent evidences is also given so as to avoid the double counting of the same
dependent evidence. A numerical example shows the effectiveness of the proposed rule.
