Induction motor is a nonlinear system with significant coupling. Efficiency optimization control of asynchronous motor based on maximum ratio of torque to current is presented. A new steady adaptive predictive functional control algorithm (PFC) based on Laguerre model is applied to motor control system. The control scheme of maximum ratio of torque to current is realized. The simulation results illustrate this method proposed in this paper has better performances than the conventional PI controller, , and it has not only high tracking precision but also lower stator current because of the online identification of the controller. It has shown that the proposed algorithm is effective.
