Abstract:This paper addresses the problem of ??∞ filter design for a class of Takagi-Sugeno(T-S) fuzzy systems. Attention
is focused on the design of a filter such that the filtering error system is quadratically stable in the given linear matrix
inequality(LMI) stability region and satisfies a prescribed ??∞ performance. By using the fuzzy Lyapunov function approach
and adding slack matrix variables, a sufficient condition for the existence of such a filter is presented in terms of solutions to
a set of linear matrix inequalities. Finally, a simulation example shows the effectiveness of the proposed method.
