Abstract:The optimal solution of dynamic optimization problems generally consists of different kinds of arcs. And the
inherent discontinuous nature of optimal control profiles may pose problems to numerical solution methods. Therefore, based
on Gauss pseudo-spectral method, a partitioning and simultaneous strategy for dynamic optimization problem is presented.
Through partitioning, the ill-condition problem caused by the discontinuity of optimal control profile can be avoided. In
addition, the optimization problems obtained after the partition is solved in a simultaneous way and the solution can satisfy
the linkage constraints. Finally simulation study shows the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
