Hesitant fuzzy linguistic term set is an extension of the linguistic term set. Motivated by the idea of traditional MACBETH(measuring attractiveness by a categorical-based evaluation technique) method, a macbeth method with hesitant fuzzy linguistic information is introduced. Firstly, the decision information represented by the linguistic expressions is transformed to the hesitant fuzzy linguistic term set, and the hesitant fuzzy linguistic judgment matrix is derived. Then the results are applied to the improved MACBETH decision support system. Finally, a numerical example concerning how the graduates choose the company they want to work in is given to illustrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method.
